Our good friends at Ivory Tribe approached us with the idea of showcasing a memorable getaway for brides as the hustle and bustle of wedding preparations reached its peak. Healthy Hens, in collaboration with Hire a Kombi and ourselves, were tasked with presenting a refreshing take on the traditional Hen’s Day. Straying away from conventional norms, this experience aimed to provide a rejuvenating alternative to the typical late-night, alcohol-centric celebrations.
Healthy Hens, driven by a team of dedicated health and well-being experts, focused on creating an atmosphere of relaxation and revitalisation.
The journey commenced with a scenic ride along the Great Ocean Road in a charming Kombi named Harriet, courtesy of Hire a Kombi. The owners, Alyce and George, added to the joy of the journey, making the road trip a laughter-filled and musical adventure.
Arriving at Cumberland River Holiday Park, the breathtaking surroundings set the stage for a tranquil escape. The Twilight Glamping bell tents, provided a luxurious haven immersed in nature.
Activities kicked off with a hands-on flower crown crafting session led by Alisha from Poesy Flowers. The group engaged in a relaxing afternoon of creativity.
True to the health-centric theme, the festivities included a divine picnic styled with bohemian perfection. The spread featured coconut water, juices from Green Street Juice Co., fresh fruits, nuts, dips, and tempting raw treats, creating a colourful and delectable experience.
The evening continued with laughter around the campfire, accompanied by wine and perfectly toasted marshmallows. Retiring to the cosy tents, the night unfolded in a dream-like slumber, serenaded by the soothing sounds of the nearby ocean.
The following morning commenced with a beachside yoga session led by Tiffany of Healthy Hens, delivering a blissful start to the day.
We furnished three cosy bell tents for the retreat. Among these, two were thoughtfully arranged for a peaceful night’s sleep, each adorned with five inviting single beds. The third bell tent was transformed into an intimate indoor lounge area, offering an inviting space for relaxation and shared moments. The tents, equipped with thoughtful details like magazines and picnic hampers, promised a memorable glamping experience at the retreat.
