Caitlin and Damien, a couple who shared our love for festivals, were among the most relaxed and delightful bride and groom we’ve had the pleasure of working with. Their wedding, which they aptly named ‘Caitlin and Damien’s Big Day Out’, was a unique celebration inspired by their favourite festival.

Caitlin and Damien’s Big Day Out was not just a wedding, but a full-blown festival adventure for every guest. Set on Damien’s parents’ private property in Jan Juc, the event was complete with a glamping village, food stalls, and a festival-style merchandise stand.

The Sailcloth Marquee stood tall at the top of the paddock, surrounded by food stalls, rustic pallet furniture and a festival-style merchandise stand with customised stubby holders, t-shirts and CDs. They even had a dressing room in one of our 5m bell tents where the guests could go and freshen up. It had mirrors, straighteners, hair dryers, deodorant, mints, tweezers, tampons, toothpaste and even a charging station for your phone!

The guests enjoyed an array of delicious food from a choice of three food stations, including Spanish Paella, Asian Hawkers, and Greek Souvalakis. After lining their stomachs, I think it’s safe to say the guests partied into the night, true festival style!
